ABOUT JAY

Jay’s first camera (a Kodak Instamatic) was given to him when he was 14 years old. After many photos of cows, dogs, and the East Texas landscape, he borrowed a friend's 35mm camera and was instantly hooked. He’s been shooting ever since.

Experience in many types of photography including nature, corporate, and sports, help complete a nice set of skills for making your portrait and wedding photography truly special. His background in art and design often shines through and allows him to deliver outstanding images that many photographers would overlook.

Jay loves his family. He has a wife, an 11 year old son, and two feisty dogs. Being an Eagle Scout himself, he’s taken to being a Scout leader for his son, as well as a youth basketball coach.

In his spare time you may find Jay hiking or biking with his wife, son, and dogs, or playing tennis. And believe it or not, you may find him taking photographs somewhere simply because he loves it.
